This is not the first time Majors appeared in a Marvel film as the actor made his debut in the Loki TV series where he played “He who Remains”. The future looked bright for the actor as he was part of so many big franchises however, a recent happening with the actor has put his name in the bad light resulting in Marvel potentially looking for replacing the actor. So, who does Marvel finds fit to replace Jonathan Majors? Let’s find out.
Marvel Looking For Potential Replacements For Jonathan Majors!
Jonathan Majors was arrested last week in New York City on the charges of assaulting a woman. While the actor has remained adamant on his that he has done nothing wrong, getting arrested for such a horrible act will always make you guilty until proven innocent. Marvel wants to play it safe. As the actor is still not proven innocent and if he found guilty then the MCU shouldn’t crumble. So, Marvel is looking for potential replacements who can be their Kang.
On the Hot Mic Podcast, industry insider Jeff Sneider revealed that Marvel is prepared to replace Majors if his charges are proved in court. Marvel already has a potential replacement for Majors. Sneider revealed ,“Here’s one I wanted to talk about… Did you see who got cast in that Brad Pitt racing movie? … Damson Idris… I think he’s from Snowfall. And so that’s like a big part, right? That is the young, hotshot racer opposite Brad Pitt in this $150-200 million racing movie. That was a big deal that he got that.”
Sneider further added, “And again, even though there hasn’t been any movement on the Jonathan Majors front, I’ve heard that’s the kind of actor, who, like, if Jonathan Majors got the boot as Kang, someone like Damson Idris is the type of the person that [Marvel] may look at to replace him if that, in fact, happens.” Damon Idris is an up and coming name in Hollywood who is best known for his work in the FX drama Snowfall and Netflix’s Outside the Wire.
