As this is a new year, Super Bowl has to be there. If there is a Super Bowl then a lot of people from the entertainment industry will be involved as no one wants to hold back when it comes to the biggest sporting event of the year in America. Naturally, all studios have been creating slates to reveal new trailers at the upcoming Super Bowl. Marvel has been a consistent collaborator with Super Bowl for some time. We also have the news that DC is also revealing the new Flash movie trailer in the upcoming game. We thought that would be the biggest thing from the game this year but Marvel is not holding back either where they’re planning to release multiple teasers and trailers with unseen footages for all their upcoming movies. Let’s see which ones they’re.
New Marvel Trailers at Super Bowl 2023?
Deadline reports that according to a new report, Marvel has listed Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for spots to air during the Super Bowl LVII. The Guardians of the Galaxy spot will most likely be a brand new trailer while the Ant-Man spot will be something related to a Heineken cross-promotion that has been ongoing in the lead-up to the film. Deadline also reported there is a possibility that Marvel also reveal The Marvels teaser for the first time. The spot has not been booked but could be.
The new teaser for The Marvels has been in discussion for quite some time now after Brie Larson’s Spanish dub actress teased a sneak peek coming soon after finishing her work on the film and posting about it. When you talk about Disney as a whole then apart from these trailers there is a lot more that is coming. There is a possibility that Disney has booked spots for upcoming films like The Little Mermaid (live action), Pixar’s The Elemental and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
One project that we know won’t be making an appearance at the Super Bowl is Secret Invasion which is supposed to start streaming on Disney+ sometime in May 2023. This may be an indication that the show is pushed back to some later release date because if it is not then I don’t see Marvel having any reason not to release a trailer while so many eyes are on them. An opportunity like this will cease to exist in the future. The Marvels trailer could be short 30 seconds sneak peek with an extended look coming out soon.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 should very well be a second official trailer and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will have a 30 seconds TV spot which might contain some new footage given the stage at which it is being released. The core cast of the Ant-Man franchise including Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas are returning. Along with these regulars, the supporting cast of the film has added Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, Bill Murray and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Super Bowl LVII will take place on 13th February 2023 between Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. MCU’s latest film: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will release in theatres near you on 17th February 2023.
