Echo is an upcoming Marvel show that will start streaming on Disney from next year. The show will focus on Echo aka Maya Lopez who is the adoptive daughter of the Marvel villain Kingpin. The character made her MCU debut in the Disney+ show Hawkeye that came out last year. As Echo appeared in the show who has a direct connection to Kingpin, Marvel was not missing out on the opportunity to officially introduce Kingpin in the MCU. Therefore, they not only introduced him, but revealed that he was the one pulling all the strings in the show. Anyways, the success of Hawkeye paved the way for Echo/Maya Lopez played by Alqua Cox to get a spin off series for herself.

Marvel’s Echo Leaked Trailer Description from D23 2022

Marvel made it difficult to breathe at this years SDCC and D23 2022 as it poured in a bucket lot of information on the fans including Phase 5 and Phase 6 plans. While most of the information is public, certain trailers and footages were only showcased to the D23 audience and Marvel’s Echo was one of those trailers. Now unfortunately, we do not have the leaked trailer just yet but we do have the trailer description for you hungry fans!

Now as you may remember Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin seemingly died at the end of Hawkeye, so his inclusion in the series raised certain questions. Will the series’ storyline would be focused on a Kingpin storyline or will he be appearing in the form of flashbacks is something to be seen? Will Daredevil be in Echo series? Well it seems like these questions will be answered by the following description. So, read on.

Echo Vincent D'Onofrio Kingpin First Look Leaked!

The footage shown at D23 began with Echo on her motorcycle, while an old man provides a context over her trek. He begins by explaining, “our ancestors were powerful,” and the scene cuts to a flashback of an Indigenous tribe. “Their strength echoes through you,” he tells Maya, which might be another part of why she took on the codename Echo. It also showed Echo looking at her glowing hands, with a brief look at Charlie Cox’s appearance as Daredevil in the series.

We see that the voice talking is one of Echo’s elders, perhaps her grandfather, played by Graham Greene. He gives Echo a prosthetic leg with decorations on it that mean “warrior,” and she signs to him that she needs to go home. There are some quick action beats intercut with clips of Indigenous people, and then the teaser ends with Vincent D’Onofrio back as Wilson Fisk, A.K.A. Kingpin. His eye is bandaged from his last encounter with his surrogate daughter as he says, “It’s been a long time.”

Marvel’s Echo will start streaming on Disney+ in 2023.
