Marvel's Echo: Official Release Date Announced

Hawkeye might not be a great TV show but it definitely gave us an interesting and intriguing character of Echo aka Maya Lopez who is the adoptive daughter of the Marvel villain Kingpin. As Echo appeared in the show who has a direct connection to Kingpin Marvel was not missing out on the opportunity to officially introduce Kingpin in the MCU. You can say that Kingpin was the main villain of the show. However, his adoptive daughter is on the side of his opposition, similar to the comics where she was on the side of Daredevil. The success of the show paved the way for Maya Lopez played by Alqua Cox to get a spin off series for herself. After a lot of delays and production issues, the show is finally ready for the audiences. So, when does it release?

Marvel’s Echo Will Release All At Once!

Some previous reports stating that the Marvel TV show- Echo will debut on Disney+ next year as the production issues have lagged the pace of the shoot rendering Marvel unable to release the show this year. However, in a live presentation for Marvel’s 2023 Upfront event, the studio announced the release date of two of their upcoming shows- Loki Season Two and Echo. While the God of Mischief’s show is coming out in October, Echo on the other hand will come out on 29th November 2023 defying the previous reports.

Another interesting thing about the show is that unlike Marvel’s traditional release strategy of releasing one episode per week, all six episodes of Echo will release all at once on the said release date. The only other show to adopt this release strategy is I Am Groot that released on 10th August 2022, with all five episodes coming out on the same day. It is also believed that Echo is one of the only three Marvel shows releasing this year along with Loki Season Two and Secret Invasion.

Marvel’s Echo will premiere on Disney+ on 29th November 2023.
