Last week Variety revealed new information in the Jonathan Majors’ case where the outlet revealed that more women have come forward accusing the Marvel actor of assault. This is the first big development in the case after Majors’ was arrested in New York in March 2023. The report states that many sources familiar with the matter have informed Variety that many more women have been co-operating and speaking up to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. At the moment the DA’s office has refused to offer any statement regarding the same for obvious reasons. However, a new report reveals that the alleged victim of Jonathan Majors’ was a Marvel employee who worked in the actor’s latest MCU project – Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
MCU: Is Jonathan Majors Innocent?
According to a new report from the New York Post, the alleged victim in the Jonathan Majors case was once employed by Marvel. The victim and Majors’ then girlfriend who is now identified by the New York Post as Grace Jabbari was officially credited as Movement in Coach in Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The outlet also shared images of the woman partying seemingly uninjured at a glance. However, the security footage provided is grainy and blurry, and may not be able to show everything in detail.
Also, Majors’ lawyer Priya Chaudhry said that following the incident that the woman is claiming to be an attack on her is in fact an attack on Majors as the actor allegedly received 32 calls from the woman, and angry texts including an alleged threat of suicide. Furthermore, the report also says that Priya Chaudhry also claims that new video footage features officers “clearly coaching her to say that Mr. Majors grabbed her by the throat.” (While there is an image with a “play” icon on the New York Post’s report with that caption, there is no attached video to confirm this, just a photo.)
Jonathan Majors is awaiting May 8th 2023 court date in New York.
