Jonathan Majors was arrested last week in New York City on the charges of assaulting a woman. While the actor has remained adamant on his stand that he has done nothing wrong, getting arrested for such a horrible act will always make you guilty until proven innocent and rightly so. Marvel much like any other studio wants to play it safe. As the actor is still not proven innocent and if he is found guilty then the MCU will crumble given Jonathan Majors is this saga’s big bad, so, Marvel is looking for potential replacements who can be their Kang. If rumors are to be believed then Damon Idris is the first choice to replace Majors. However, this is a possibility which will only turn into reality if Majors is found guilty but if a recent report is to be believed then the likelihood of Majors being replaced is high as more women have come forward and accused Jonathan Majors of assault.
MCU: Jonathan Majors’ Career In Hollywood Looks Dim!
Variety revealed some new information in the Jonathan Majors’ case where the outlet revealed that more women have come forward alleging the Marvel actor of assault. This is the first big development in the case after Majors’ was arrested in New York in March 2023. The report states that many sources familiar with the matter have informed Variety that many more women have been co-operating and speaking up to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. At the moment the DA’s office has refused to offer any statement regarding the same for obvious reasons.
A Majors’ representative too denied to say anything on the record, but more women alleging the actor is bad news and unless there is some hard evidence with the actor his career is bound to go downhill. This is a significant turn in the case. A statement that we received from Priya Chaudhry who is Jonathan Majors’ lawyer read, “Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that we will be fully exonerated.”
Jonathan Majors is awaiting May 8th 2023 court date in New York.
