At this point, there is no doubt that MCU is a force to be reckoned with. Not only is it the highest grossing film franchise, but it is also a massive world of its own. The Infinity saga created a massive hype train which was boarded by fans and critics alike, and now all eyes are on its future. The question all of us are asking right now is, can MCU top the Infinity Saga? After No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness, fans are now sure that MCU is indeed onto something. MoM opened doors to thousands of possibilities and here’s one!
Rumor Has It That Captain Carter Will Return!
A latest MCU rumour claims that Marvel is planning for a project based on Captain Carter. It’s currently unknown whether this live-action project will move forward and is made as a series or movie. With Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness opening the path to other universes, it’s very much possible that we see a Captain Carter from one of the infinite Earths.
Marvel previously made Agent Carter series on ABC network, which, though short-lived for only two seasons, received great critical acclaim. Hayley Atwell’s portrayal of the title role received unanimous praise. She also voiced Peggy Carter in the Marvel’s animated “What if…?” series. According to the Marvel producer Brad Winderbaum, Captain Carter will also be important for the future seasons of “What if…?”
Captain Carter appears as one of the members of Illuminati who was pitted against Wanda and unfortunately met her demise. Hayley Atwell reprised her role in this alternate Earth/universe Peggy Carter. The brief cameo surprised many fans of Peggy, and there is a rising demands for more Captain Carter related stuff. It’s yet to be seen if a Captain Carter project moves forward as a series or movie and is set on the same alternate Earth shown in Multiverse of Madness.
All that said, we’d ask you to take this rumor with a grain of salt until things become official. This rumor originated from The DisInsider Show’s Rumor of the Week segment where Derek Cornell put it forward.
Hot off of Doctor Strange 2 and What If…?, we are hearing not for sure if it’s a series, but we’re hearing a Captain Carter live-action series. Series or movie, but something is in the works, live-action will be coming.
