Ms. Marvel Second Post Credit Scene Revealed!

The end of Phase 3 marked Marvel’s entry into into TV shows. Since 2020, Marvel has started something that they’ve never done before, broadening their horizon. Marvel has made 6 films in Phase 3 so far and 7 TV shows. We’ve gotten about 50 hours worth of content from Marvel combined. However, one thing that can’t be denied is that Phase 4 has not particularly worked for Marvel. Except for a rare success in Spider-Man: No Way Home and TV shows like Loki, Marvel is struggling to keep their audience hooked to their content. If they don’t do something to fix this soon they might simply loose their audience as the promise of success from the previous phases won’t keep eyeballs glued to the screens.

Their latest Disney+ release was Ms. Marvel, a show focusing on Kamala Khan a Pakistani-American Superhero. The show didn’t exactly do well as many audiences found the show mediocre. It did score 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, although its IMDb score is 6.1/10. The overall quality of the show was well…average. It did have some surprises though. Like Captain Marvel swapping places with Kamala in the post credit scene, Kamala’s powers origins hints at Mutant’s existence. However, in a recent interview with New Rockstars the series lead actress Iman Vellani who plays Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel revealed that along with the Captain Marvel post credit scene there was another post credit scene planned. Let’s what it was.

What was the 2nd Post Credit Scene Planned for Ms. Marvel Season 1?

Iman Vellani revealed to Erik Voss of New Rockstars that the scene between Kamala Khan and Bruno where he reveals to her the origin of their powers is mutation, was originally planned as a post credit scene but was later added into the last episode. If not it would’ve been the 2nd post credit in Ms. Marvel Season 1. Vellani said, “It was going to be, but we like… It just felt too good and we needed to, kind of, keep people watching before the actual post-credits scene. So yeah, it totally was meant to be one.”

Iman Vellani further talked about some details in Season 1 that could be explored in further detail in a potential Season 2,“That’s a great question. We did have… So that last lamppost shot that you saw. We did have a version where it’s Kamala reading the note that Bruno left for her and they had written this like fake note for me. But they didn’t show me what it was until I read it, so I would get all emotional or whatever. But I think that’s something we’re gonna explore in Season 2 if that happens. I hope it happens. I think all these characters have a lot of story left to tell. But yeah, maybe it’s Bruno’s, you know, just pouring his soul out and then confessing his love for Kamala. Who knows?”

Vellani also revealed that we’ll get answers to many things in the upcoming The Marvels, “We did shoot that in The Marvels, not during Ms. Marvel. So I do know the story, because I was in the movie. But yeah, they did switch places. Where did she go? we’ll find out in a year.” She also mentioned how her character would feel once she realized that she has swapped places with Captain Marvel, “Oh god, a lot of fear and excitement at the same time of where she ends up. That’s what I’ll say.”

All six episodes of Ms. Marvel are currently streaming on Disney+
