She-Hulk Spoilers and Plot Leaks
Blonsky’s parole is put at risk when footage of him fighting in Macau, China is suddenly leaked. Abomination also has a number of pen-pal “soul mates” who turn up to his parole hearing (similar to the mass murderers who have random lovers who write them letters). Wong shows up late to Blonsky’s hearing, and takes responsibility for his “escape”, claiming he forced him to fight, and Blonsky returned of his own free will. Blonsky transforms into Abomination to show the parole board he can control his actions now, but they uncontrollably scream. There are a number of protestors outside the DODC prison where Blonsky is being kept, and news conspiracy theories of She-Hulk being pregnant with Abomination’s baby. She-Hulk does an interview on the news and defends Blonsky.
The sleazy lawyer from her previous law firm shows up at GLK/H as a client. He doesn’t want Jen representing him, or another female lawyer that is suggested, as he believes he may sleep with her later, but she dismisses him. He asks for Josh Segarra’s character to represent him. The case is that a New Asgardian elf transformed herself into Megan Thee Stallion, and conned $175,000 dollars out of him, as he believed she was the real deal. She then shows up as the sleazy lawyer to request they drop the case, then transforms into Josh Segarra’s character and walks around the firm, telling the female receptionists he likes to sexually harass women. The defendant tries to get the case dismissed as she has “diplomatic immunity”, but the judge states they are not in New Asgard – the elf then says that Asgard is not a place, it is a people. She then transforms into the judge and bangs the gavel as a joke, before getting chased by security. The defendant’s side claims that the sleazy lawyer obviously knew she was a fake and was roleplaying. Josh Segarra’s character brings Jen on as a witness to testify that the sleazy lawyer is so stupid, he’d genuinely believe he could pull the real Megan. The judge rules that the elf must pay back the $175,000 and is sentenced to 60 days for impersonating the judge. Megan Thee Stallion is then revealed to be spectating in the courtroom, and celebrates.
Jen uses the “Matchfinder app” as herself and doesn’t get any matches – she even gets a notification saying she has no matches. Her friend sees she used her corporate photo as her profile picture and fixes up her account. She suggests Jen should make an account for She-Hulk, but Jen doesn’t want to. She goes on a boring date and gets drinks with a guy who just talks about himself at a bowling alley. The bill comes and they have a faceoff and reach inside their bags. Jen pulls out a wallet and he pulls out his car keys and leaves quickly, suggesting they should do this again.
The wrecking crew corner Jen in the street and she asks if they robbed an Asgardian construction worker – one of them said yes. She transforms into She-Hulk and beats them up. One tries to get her blood, but the needle breaks. They get away and it’s suggested they were working for someone.
Donny Blaze is a magician (with real-life tricks) with a not-so-enthusiastic crowd. He then asks for a volunteer, a drunk girl who introduces herself as: “Madisyn(?) with a y, but not where you thiiiiink”. Donny pulls out a sling ring and sends her to some hell-like dimension. She then ends up in Kamar-Taj after giving six drops of blood to a demon and making a deal she can’t disclose. She blacked out and her dress is also undone. Wong is sitting there watching The Sopranos Season 6, and in her drunken state, she spoils the episode for him (someone dies). Wong swears revenge on Donny Blaze.
Wong approaches Jen for a case. He wants to make an example out of Donny for misusing the Mystic Arts; he was a past student of Kamar-Taj. Jen asks if he has anything on paper, but Wong says all students make a pact with a higher power. At the preliminary hearing, Wong teleports Maddie as a witness. The judge rules that the case will go ahead, but Donny can still practice in the meantime. Donny’s lawyer is also a magician. Donny then does another show, and tries to send another girl through a portal, but she doesn’t want to because of what happened to Maddie. Donny then creates a dove, and it flies in the girl’s hand and lays an egg. Out of the egg a baby demon hatches and rapidly grows. Donny tries to send it back home, but a bunch more fly out. Donny asks Wong for help.
Jen makes an account for She-Hulk and gets tons of matches. She goes on a date with a filmmaker, a bodybuilder who compares how much they can lift, and with a doctor who is really sweet and wants to learn about her. She then takes him back to her place and he spills wine on his shirt, so takes it off. She then throws it away while he’s getting club soda to clean the couch. They’re about to get freaky then Wong opens a portal behind the couch and asks for She-Hulk’s help. The pair send the demons back home as they grow even bigger. She-Hulk keeps one, and demands Donny agree to their terms before sending it back. She then teleports back and falls on top of the guy, before carrying him to her room. He hits the lamp with his foot. It then cuts to the morning, and Jen is making breakfast. She asks her date to stay for breakfast, but her date asks who she is. She tells him she’s She-Hulk not in Hulk-form, but he’s clearly disappointed and leaves. Jen is visibly upset. Jen then gets served with a subpoena for copyright infringement – Titania is suing her for use of the name “She-Hulk” as she had already copyrighted it. The guy who serves her has an attitude. Wong and Maddie watch more Sopranos, and she spoils it again. She-Hulk helps her father carry multiple water cooler jugs. He gets the door for her.
The only thing missing from the plot leaks mentioned above is appearance of Daredevil! So, let us talk about the Daredevil cameo leak now, shall we? Numerous times throughout the series, She-Hulk makes a 4th wall joke that the audience is happy to see Wong again but promises this won’t be a “cameo every week” show. She then rescinds that when Daredevil shows up and makes the same joke that the audience is happy. I kind of mourn for Daredevil as he too seems to have been turned into some form of a joke by Disney. I hope that changes when he appears in his own show and keeps the same vibes and intensity of its Netflix run.
