With several movies and Disney Plus episodes released each year, Phase 4 of the MCU has provided more content and characters than ever before. If there is one thing the fans do not like, it is the lack of connectivity between them. Thankfully, Marvel Studios’ announcements at Comic-Con indicate that it’s all about to change, and it might just begin with the upcoming series, She-Hulk.
With new and returning heroes at the centre of some surprising plots, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to explore some exciting ground in the coming years. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, a half-hour legal comedy starring Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, will follow her and a rag-tag bunch of Marvel characters.
She Hulk Might Be The Most Interconnected MCU Disney Plus Series To Date
It has been previously claimed that the show would have some unexpected Marvel cameos. The latest series footage has fans thinking about one in particular. A poster that looks to be advertising someone with the last name “Blaze” can be seen halfway through the new featurette, resulting in some viewers wondering whether it might be a reference to Johnny Blaze, the original Ghost Rider.
Many have been speculating about the possibilities even though the poster misspells the name slightly differently – with one less letter than the comic-accurate “Johnny” does. Fans would undoubtedly be surprised if Ghost Rider made his MCU debut on She-Hulk, but stranger things have certainly happened within the franchise.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law centres around Jennifer Walters, a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk who navigates the challenging life of a single, 30-something attorney. Prominent MCU veterans will appear in the nine-episode series, including Benedict Wong as Wong, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk.
Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry are also featured in the cast. While the executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro, and Jessica Gao, co-executive producers include Jennifer Booth and Wendy Jacobson.
Disney+ will release She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Wednesday, August 17.
