Tom Holland is a world renowned fan favorite actor for his portrayal of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in the MCU. While his debut was received overwhelmingly, Spider-Man: Homecoming was kind of okay but the next two films in the franchise were an absolute blast – Far From Home- $1.132 billion and Spider-Man: No Way Home- $1.9 billion. Marvel has gotten us into a habit of getting a new Spider-Man every two years. By that logic, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 should’ve released some time in the second half of this year. However, we know that is not happening. So, when is the fourquel releasing? Marvel hasn’t updated us. There is no hint of the same in the slate that they’d showcased. So, with everything going on with Marvel will Spider-Man 4 get its release date soon?
Tom Holland Will Return As Spider-Man Sooner Than You Expect!
Deadline reports that Sony Pictures has set two dates aside for the release of two Marvel films. According to the report, these dates are November 8th 2024 and June 27th 2025. Wait. Don’t jump out of your seats. Spider-Man 4 won’t release in November ’24. I’ll explain. Variety had recently reported that Sony is eyeing an October 2024 release date for Tom Hardy’s symbiote threequel. So, it is more than likely that Venom 3 will take the November ’24 release date. That makes it clear that as Spider-Man 4 is in development it will take the June ’25 release date.
This would also mean that Spider-Man would release between 2025’s Fantastic Four reboot and 2026’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, given all the major shifts that the MCU has recently endured. That being said, it is more than possible that this date would be given to other Spider-Man universe spin-offs or sequels. Bad Bunny’s El Muerto is currently dated for January 12, 2024, but as production has shown no sign of movement, that film will probably be delayed. However, various reports have stated that Spider-Man 4 will release before The Kang Dynasty so for now we can assume that Tom Holland would return on the big screen as Spider-Man on June 27th 2025.
