The Marvels is the next big release from MCU after they conclude the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise this year. The sequel has been in conversation for quite some time now, mostly for the wrong reasons. Ever since the movie has been pushed back to December there have been many reports which claim that the sequel is victim to a lot of production issues mostly caused by lead star Brie Larson. However, there have been contrasting reports which claim otherwise so it is your choice what to believe and not. What we know for sure is Marvel has been refraining to give us any glimpse of the sequel. Despite the film releasing in months’ time we have not gotten anything, not even first look. Well, that changes today. Marvel has gifted fans with a teaser trailer for The Marvels and I won’t lie it looks good.
The Marvels Has A Fun Vibe To It!
The Marvels teaser trailer begins with Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in a spaceship asking the question, “Where is Captain Rambeau?” Which is what we heard in the teaser that Marvel had released before releasing the Teaser Trailer. We then see Captain Rambeau coming across some cosmic energy which is similar in color to Kamala’s powers and then we see Kamala having replaced Rambeau in the space suit. The entire premise of the trailer is simply to show us how Captain Marvel’s, Ms. Marvel’s and Captain Rambeau’s powers are entangled and what a mess it is causing.
There is a fun teenage vibe to the trailer. I sense it is because of Ms. Marvel. I appreciated the Beatles song playing in the background, it went well with the visuals of the trailer. I don’t think so Marvel has revealed much plot details in the trailer as everything was just related to how do they stop being swapped all the time. I think this is another trailer from Marvel which does a good job to get us excited about the movie. Unfortunately the movie the trailer is promoting will turn out to be lackluster and disappoint fans further. Sometimes I wonder how does Marvel makes better trailers than movies?
