The Marvels Official Trailer Released At SDCC 2023

After the conclusion of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise Marvel only has one theatrical release left this year. The sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel. The Marvels has been in conversation for quite some time, mostly for the wrong reasons. Ever since the movie has been pushed back to November there have been many reports which claim that the sequel is victim to a lot of production issues mostly caused by lead star Brie Larson. However, there have been contrasting reports which claim otherwise so it is your choice what to believe and not. What we do know is The Marvels is practically the only thing Marvel has to show for at SDCC’23. The studio released the official trailer for the film at their panel today and it looks good.

The Marvels New Trailer Looks Promising!

After we got a teaser trailer for The Marvels in April, Marvel has treated us with the official trailer of the sequel at San Diego Comic Con 2023. The new trailer doesn’t reveal anything new. We’ve seen it all in the teaser trailer. We see more cats or Flurkens which is a welcome addition. Other then that the trailer seems to be 2 minutes of another generic Marvel film which will amount to nothing. This time with women at the forefront but that doesn’t make it better.

The villain seems like no threat at all. Although, she does an interesting thing. She address Carol as annihilator. Any other day this would seem like an insult or an accusation but I can’t help and think that this is a nod to Annihilation, the Marvel super villain. We’ve not seen any footage about him until now so his appearance in the film might be a surprise.
