Thor Love and Thunder Merchandise Reveals Christian Bale’s Gorr and Jane Foster Thor

Thor: Love and Thunder is one upcoming MCU Phase 4 film that fans have been impatiently waiting for. It will be the 29^th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fourth one in the Thor franchise. Thor is the only MCU superhero to receive a 4^th standalone installment and we expected nothing less from the character. After receiving a massive power boost in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War, Thor was reduced to a fat underpowered God in Avengers: Endgame. So, apart from a fitness montage, we are all excited for what else this film holds for us.

Thor Odinson and Jane Foster Thor Revealed

Obviously, Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder, along with his friends Korg, Miek, and Valkyrie are all returning. That aside, it was confirmed that Natalie Portman will return as not just Jane Foster, but as Jane Foster Thor! She’ll take on the role of The Mighty Thor as she did in the comics. You might be aware that the official merchandises from Marvel have always been a great source for first looks on the upcoming films.

Well, what you see in the image above is the first look for Natalie Portman’s Thor with a freshly crafted Mjolnir. She looks highly comic accurate and Marvel seem to have nailed her costume to perfection! As for Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, you see him in perfect shape as opposed to his Endgame look wearing a blue and gold colored armor. It looks fresh and gels with his lightening powers. But that’s not it as here’s the best part.

Gorr the God Butcher First Look

As you may well know Gorr will be played by Christian Bale (The Dark Knight Trilogy) and will be the big bad of the film. His first look from a side angle was leaked almost a year ago, and since then fans have been eagerly waiting for more. Well, the action figure you see above gives us a pretty decent idea of what Gorr would look like. He is the one on the right going against Jane Foster Thor.

Gorr is one of the most fearsome supervillain in the world of Thor. As his name suggests his mission is to kill all the Gods he can, hence the Zeus thing mentioned above. Obviously, all that will lead him to Thor, the God of Thunder in Norse mythology as well. This is probably where Jane will lift a fresh made Mjolnir to become the new Thor and team up with Odinson to defeat Gorr.

The action figures for King Valkyrie and Korg can also be seen in the featured image and can be checked out on marvel.com. Thor: Love and Thunder is all set to hit the theatres on July 8, 2022.
