Thor 4 Love and Thunder Debuts the Best Marvel Trailer Since Sometime Thor with Helmet

Avengers: Endgame gave a satisfying end to all the OG Avengers except for Thor and Hawkeye. While Hawkeye got his own series, Thor on the other hand continues his story in Thor: Love and Thunder. This film made Thor the first Marvel superhero to get his 4th solo movie. After Thor: Ragnarok’s success and critical acclaim, everyone was expecting its sequel to be amazing as it was directed by the same guy- Taika Waititi. However, the film got mixed reviews since its premiere and as the days have gone by and the film has opened to audiences those opinions have drastically changed as the film is now being considered one of the worst films in the entire MCU.

As the film’s box office run is running out of fuel, Marvel has announced the streaming date for the film. Recently we got updates on the extra featurettes that we’ll be getting in the Blu-rays and DVDs. We even got to see the concept art of Grandmaster’s deleted scene and alternate end art concept. However, today we have something different. Among all the deleted scenes starring Star Lord and Jane in the hospital, today we have Love and Thunder’s another official deleted scene that stars none other than Russell Crowe’s Zeus.

Thor: Love and Thunder Has Another Scene With Russell Crowe’s Zeus!

Thor Love and Thunder Deleted Scenes Descriptions Revealed

New deleted scene from Thor: Love and Thunder shows Russell’s Crowe Zeus visiting Jane in the hospital before the big fight between Thor and Gorr. We’d seen the earlier part of this scene in another deleted scene, now we have the continuation. The scene follows with Zeus teaching Thor what is power and giving him the Thunderbolt, unlike what we saw in the film. The scene includes another bit where Mjolnir knocks on Jane’s hospital window asking her to wield it and help Thor to fight Gorr.

Jane suits up in the scene and joins Thor while he is being trained by Zeus. The scene ends with Zeus wishing luck to them and Jane and Thor going towards gates of eternity on Thor’s goats. After the release of this scene, a lot of Marvel fans are annoyed and upset at Marvel as they find this scene quite funny and compelling. They’re furious for why it was cut out. Well, we have an answer for that. Marvel wanted to include Hercules in a post credit scene, so that they can set-up a Thor 5.

Because of that post credit, the entire Zeus subplot was cut short, originally Waititi wanted to redeem Zeus with this arc. Apparently, after seeing this scene Marvel fans preferred this version of the story rather than the one we got. Let’s see what they’re seeing. A Twitter user called @Lorenzo74209291  tweeted,“1. This scene is quite cute and it’s a shame that it didn’t end up in the final cut, but I hope to see it adapted in the future 2. Zeus who speaks Italian, despite the fact that in Rome they spoke with Latin, is a wonderful thing”

YouTuber Tram Dang called the scene “kind of funny”, “Idk why but this should’ve been kept in the movie. Mjolnir banging on the window to be let in was kind of funny.”

An user of CVF thought the scene was better than the movie version, “This is so much better than the one that happened in the original cut”

Sean Gonzalez thinks deleting this scene was a huge mistake, “it’s more that this scene balences comedic moments with something emotionally hard-hitting. seeing Jane dying with the hammer banging on the windows to be let in is funny, but also sad. same with the tone of Zeus when he’s talking to Thor. He isn’t joking, he’s genuinely taking time to mentor and teach Thor. it feels like the MCU of old as opposed to their newer stance. there’s just something here that hits harder emotionally, something to convey the seriousness of the situation.”

King Shabazz believes this scene explains the film’s climax better, “This scene clearly explains how Thor gave the Asgardian kids powers from the Thundebolt. I dont know why so many people thought Thor was giving the kids HIS power, when its clear the energy they possessed was yellow, not bluish like Thors.”

Comic Book Fan prefers this version of Zeus rather than the vengeful one we saw in the film, “Really should’ve kept this scene. The ‘wisest’ god turned out to be the most comedic god.”
