What If Season 2 has been on a trip of its own as its sophomore effort was to come out in late 2022 before being bumped to early 2023 and once again delayed it. What If…? season one was more or less a success for Marvel as the innovative concept of the show received its audience at the show went on. Clearly the Doctor Strange episode was the most talked about because of its similarities with Multiverse of Madness. The show had a better finale than most of the Marvel shows. With Marvel struggling so much nowadays, it baffles that they’ve not prioritized What If…? Season two for release. The show seems to be lost with other Marvel entries like Echo, X-Men’97 and Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. However, defying rumors Marvel has announced that What If…? Season Two will in fact release this year.
