MCU movies have always been hype-worthy and exciting due to incredible world building and extravagance they boost. Many other studios are trying to recapture the magic of MCU and one of them is Sony. Sony’s Rebooted Spiderverse began with Venom (2018). While Venom is set in a different universe, the upcoming film Morbius looks like it’s based in the world of MCU’s Spiderman.
We saw five villains in Spiderman: No Way Home who were all from different universes and in the end were set back to their respective universes. While they can be considered sinister five, none of them might return. Anyways, Sony’s been planning to make Sinister Six film ever since 2013, and now it finally seems possible. Though Sony’s plan of making solo villain films without Spiderman is a little beyond me but they are surely building up to their dream project.
Kraven The Hunter Set Photo Leaks
Morbius, which has opened to really bad early reviews, is all set to release on 1st April. Sony’s upcoming projects Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web are in full swing as well. Kraven the Hunter is all set to debut on January 13, 2023, and it has been confirmed that there will be no Spider-man in this film as well. Anyways, following is an on set image of Aaron Taylor-Johnson who plays the lead character in the film.
With full honesty, I’d say that even though most of Sony’s new Spiderverse films are bad, they’ve got one thing right – the looks. Tom Hardy’s Venom looked incredibly good and scary, similarly Jared Leto’s Morbius seems to have a perfect look as well. Coming to Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s first loo as Kraven, he looks pretty comic accurate as well. Only thing that seems a little different is that his hair are a bit longer. Other than that, it looks like Sony has nailed the appearance of Kraven as well. A lot depends on the costume as well, though, which can’t be seen in the first look.
As you may, know this is the first live action treatment of the character just like Morbius. While most of us can agree that this film is also bound to fail critically, we hope it does have some enjoyable elements and sets up Sinister Six well.
