Many expected The Boys Season 4 to have a summer premiere date as two of the three previous seasons were released in June/July, but the ongoing strike is delaying the progress on pivotal moments in the editing phase and will certainly make it hard to release. Amazon must be heartbroken by this, right? Not so much. It seems like Amazon Prime really dodged a bullet with The Boys Season 4. Not because it is bad but because it was moving very closely with its spin-off Gen V when it comes to release window. Having two shows of similar concepts just set apart by a few months in not ideal for any platform. However, now that The Boys Season 4 has been delayed indefinitely it means Gen V has a chance to make its mark and fill the void in fans about season 4. It seems like Prime has understood that as Gen V’s release date couldn’t be better.
