Umbrella Academy is one of the most creative and non-cliche superhero stuff out there. While Season 1 was great in its own way, Umbrella Academy Season 2 was exceptional with only a few minor flaws here and there. It showcased the world that a non Marvel/DC superhero story can be all you want to see and more. It has the potential to go toe to toe against the heavy hitters in the industry and that is why it has so many loyal fans. Though it seems like Netflix is testing the loyalty of these fans by giving absolutely no update about season 3 since past 2 years. Well, that was until now!
Umbrella Academy Release Date
The official release date for season 3 has now been revealed by Netflix which is 22nd June 2022. Just 3 months to go now!

Netflix is now sharing some promos and other content. This hints that release is not all that far away now. It’s quite possible that we receive a trailer this month and the show comes out as soon as April or May. Season 1 came out Feb 2019 and season 2 came out July 2020, so we really can’t guess based on previous release dates as well.
Umbrella Academy Season 3 Promos and Details
As you might be aware, the filming for the series wrapped in August 2021. The post-production phase is almost over now as well and the good news is that now the promo shoots have begun. The above image was the first set of promo posters released by Netflix a few days ago. The new posters show Lila (Diego’s Girlfriend) included as part of The Umbrella Academy.
The featured image at the top of the article showcases the Sparrows who were introduced in a surprise twist at the end of Season 2. Another trending news was that Euphoria actor Javon Walton is confirmed to be a part of season 3 which adds another popular actor to the cast. Also, the cast is now shooting promo videos for the season 3, so more official updates and the trailers now seem to be near.
