Thor and Odin are officially in, and fans think the show might be building one of the strongest video game adaptation casts in recent years. The series will adapt the 2018 God of War reboot storyline and its sequel, focusing on Kratos and his son Atreus during their journey through the Nine Realms. Thor and Odin Casting Revealed for Amazon God of War
Prime Video confirmed that Ólafur Darri Ólafsson will play Thor and Mandy Patinkin will play Odin in the upcoming series. Ólafsson is best known for Severance and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, while Patinkin is a veteran actor famous for The Princess Bride and Homeland. Aside from Mimir, Danny Woodburn and Jeff Gulka have been cast to play the brothers Brok and Sindri, respectively. For those unaware, Brok and Sindri are two loveable and fan favorite master smiths from the Dwarven realm of Svartalfheim, who play a crucial role in Kratos and Atreus’ quests throughout the two games.

So far only one thing that is confusing fans a bit is that all the cast revealed so far is from the second game in the Norse saga aka God of War: Ragnarok, with major players from the God of War 2018 yet to be announced. Here is the confirmed cast lineup to date:
