The quirky thing about the content advisory is it states the episode is not suitable for any age group of audience which left the viewers in splits. #Herogasm is currently trending online on twitter and audience have to hold on for a few more viewers to see the episode and witness the bizarre craziness.
Herogasm adapts the storyline of the same name from Garth Ennis graphic novels. The show creator Eric Kripke has been talking about the episode since early 2021. Some critics who got to watch the episode in advance for their review screening praised it a lot. Jack Quaid, the actor who plays Hughie Campbell has said it’s his favorite episode ever.
Eric Kripke has said the following about adapting Herogasm for season 3, as the showrunner already tried to do it in seasons 1 & 2, talking to Amazon executives, but on the whole conflicted about the direction of adapting it in previous seasons.
“It took me two years of working closely with Amazon before the third year, much like a patient parent, they were like, ‘Okay, you’ve got it, you’ve earned it, you can have Herogasm.”
Seems like the showrunner has gotten his wish and Herogasm is up to enthrall the audience.
