The Boys Season 3 just debuted the best episode of not just Season 3, but the show in its entirety. I am stunned at the quality of this show which keeps increasing further which each episode. I am going to say this one more time, The Boys is the Game of Thrones of superhero genre, and one of the best shows ever made! This week’s episode titled “Herogasm” already had immense hype around it and it succeeded in exceeding all expectation. It was gritty, gory, twisted, graphic, and the most thrilling episode yet. A lot happens in it and from this point on you’ll encounter some major spoilers.

The Boys Herogasm Episode Is The Best One Yet
Herogasm is best for sure, but for different reasons that it was expected to. It is crazy, yes! It is full of sex, yes! But the best part is that it has the showdown we have all been waiting for, since the beginning. I yelled like crazy when Homelander finally got some taste of his own medicine and received the ass kicking of the century. Soldier Boy surely is a force to be reckoned with but even then, he was no match for Homelander. However, seeing Butcher amped up on V24, and Soldier Boy fight together stroke the fanboy chord in me.
In this modern world full of superhero content like Marvel, DC, or Umbrella Academy, The Boys has managed to pull off something totally unique. In fact, calling it a superhero show doesn’t seem okay now. It is more like a dark fantasy world with superpowered people and is nothing like superheroes in general. The content warning for this episode said “Not suitable for anyone” and that is so true considering the amount of full male and female nudity this episode had, along with brutal and horrifyingly gory scenes.
Oh and the elastic penis from season 2 is back! Talking more about the orgy scene, Mother’s Milk had some really bad experience at the party and found himself covered in supe-semen and what not. Deep has achieved a new level of cringe by literally fucking an Octopus, which was foreshadowed in Episode 3. Hughie and Starlight also end up being naked when he teleported them both outside the house. Not to mention, that there were graphic glimpses of private female and male body parts in almost every scene in the background at the party. So, yeah if you were planning to watch this with kids, I’d strongly advice against it.
The Deaths and Ending Explained
This episode was jam-packed with a lot of action which led to quite a few deaths as we knew would happen. First of all, we were really worried for Starlight there for a moment, when she refused to join Vicky and her nose started bleeding. Another tense moment was between Hughie and A-Train, but A-Train ended up apologizing to him. This was a totally unexpected move for Hughie but he was so amped up that he ended up punching A-Train anyways. After that, this episode was a blood-bath.
Jensen Ackles Soldier Boy carried on his mission and ended up blowing TNT and well as a bunch of other supes at the party. Well, TNT has it coming and so did Blue Hawk who was brutally killed by A-Train as he dragged him on the road at supersonic speed. A-Train himself was the next victim to this episode as his heart couldn’t bear the speed. However, it is quite possible that A-Train survives but it doesn’t look good as he has suffered a massive heart-attack and this time no one is there to resuscitate him. Next, Homelander landed directly on Termite (Ant-Man) from Episode 1 and squishing him like the bug he is.
Among all this, we were also really worried for MM as he wasn’t thinking straight and was about to be put down by Soldier Boy before Butcher interfered. Once again, he tried to jump between Homelander vs Soldier Boy but was again saved by Starlight who brought him to his sense. One of the most tense moments in the episode was between Frenchie, Kimiko and Little Nina as Kimiko narrowly managed to beat Nina’s henchmen. The episode ended with Starlight doing a livestream and telling public the truth behind these events.
Now that she has outed Homelander, Soldier, as well as Vought, she has made one too many enemies. Homelander is already pissed at the fact he lost to The Boys and his ego has already been banged. Add to that, what Starlight did, and it may push him over the edge. Next, Soldier Boy might also get pissed at Starlight now and join forces with Homelander instead. As for Black Noir, he has totally disappeared and is either too scared of Soldier Boy, or is planning something sinsiter. I am pretty sure Black Noir will have some interesting role to play in the final 2 episodes. About rest of the Seven, Maeve is missing, A-Train is probably dead, and Deep narrowly escaped the party.
Final Verdict – The Boys Season 3 Episode 6 “Herogasm” is the best of Boys so far and is packed with horrifying, shocking, cringey, and highly tense moments that will make you feel more alive than ever!
