Lessons In Chemistry: All We Know About New Brie Larson Starrer Show

A new Apple TV show has arrived on the horizon, and we have the first look images for it. The Brie Larson starrer “Lessons in Chemistry” is about to premiere on October 13, and the interest of all prospective viewers has been piqued.

What is Lessons In Chemistry About?

The official synopsis of the upcoming show reads, “In the 1950s, Elizabeth Zott’s dream of being a scientist is challenged by a society that says women belong in the domestic sphere; she accepts a job on a TV cooking show and sets out to teach a nation of housewives way more than recipes.” The show is based on the novel by Bonnie Garmus. The show also stars Aja Naomi King, Lewis Pullman and Stephanie Koenig in important roles.

Lessons In Chemistry will feature Larson fighting 1950s sexism and patriarchy, while she tries to accomplish realizing her dreams all along. Apparently Apple TV+ had swooped in for the rights of the show at once when they had found out about the premise of the show. “The show is about human connection even more so than chemistry, and food really facilitates that,” food consultant Courtney McBroom said, “It’s the catalyst to so many things in Elizabeth’s life.”

Lessons in Chemistry first look
