Ahsoka Premiere Underperforms, Gets Same Viewership Figures as Andor

With the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi, came the trailer of Andor season 1 but at the Star War Celebration panel a lot more was revealed. This includes The Mandalorian Season 3 trailer which you can check out here as well as Ahsoka teaser, which is what this article is about. Ahsoka is placed between the original trilogy and sequels timeline and is all set to release in 2023. It stars Rosario Dawson in the titular role and will showcase the Jedi’s adventures following the events of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Also, Anakin Skywalker, The Mandalorian and Grogu/Baby Yoda will possibly appear in the series and you can read all about that here.

Ahsoka Trailer Leaked

As for the footage/teaser revealed at the Star Wars celebration, all you need to do is click on the video below. The nearly 45 seconds teaser doesn’t reveal much but is enough to get the fans hyped. So check it out!

The footage reveals the first look at Ahsoka Tano receiving huge cheers and applause from the audience. We see various shots of temples and some other unidentified landscapes, as well as the ship “Ghost” which fans adore from Star Wars: Rebels. We also see a shot of the captain of the Ghost, Hera Syndulla, who fans last saw at the end of Rebels. She still remains a huge fan-favorite and that could be confirmed by the cheers she received by the fans. We also see a Mark IV architect droid, who too was well received by the fans. It ended with a live-action version of the mural Sabine Wren painted in Rebels.

Although the plot of Ahsoka is still a secret and the teaser had no dialogues whatsoever, it was highly enjoyed by the fans. Man, its a really great time to be a Star Wars fan, especially if you adore The Mandalorian timeline. We are pretty sure that the events of The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Book of Boba Fett will tie together in some way and unite all our heroes for a single cause. Of course, it remains a speculation but I feel there is something bigger at play in The Mandalorian universe. Also, check out Tales of the Jedi’s leaked trailer here.

  1. Awesome article. Slight error, that was not an HK-47 droid, it was a Mark IV architect droid, possibly Huyang from The Clone Wars series.

  2. It’s nice to see they didn’t catch Huyang.
It makes sense that this is/was her first mission. To find and save him, he has an archive of every lightsaber ever made and who they belonged to, a list of every Jedi in the galaxy
