While fans hope it avoids the entanglements of the Multiverse saga, certain familiar faces are bound to appear, especially those tied closely to Matt Murdock’s world. Here’s a ranked list of potential cameos in Daredevil: Born Again (trailer here), from least to most likely, along with reasons why they might appear.
8. Kate Bishop (Probability – 35%)
Kate Bishop’s ties to Kingpin from Hawkeye make her cameo a possibility, albeit a slim one. Her involvement with Wilson Fisk and her budding superhero status might intersect with Matt Murdock’s mission in Born Again. However, her youthful, more lighthearted approach feels mismatched with Daredevil’s darker tone, making this an unlikely pairing.
7. Elektra (Probability – 50%)
Elektra Natchios is one of the most iconic characters in Daredevil’s lore, and her absence from Season 3 of the Netflix series was a glaring omission. Although she died in The Defenders and wasn’t resurrected again, the Hand’s mystical resurrection rituals could bring her back. Even though the Hand is nearly gone, the people they resurrect using those rituals, like Nobu and others, have shown they are hard to kill and often keep coming back. Charlie Cox’s Daredevil appearance in She-Hulk left many fans disappointed, with his portrayal veering too far from his brooding, morally complex Netflix persona. While a cameo by Jennifer Walters (or She-Hulk) would logically fit in courtroom scenes, fans are wary of her inclusion, fearing it could derail the tone of Born Again.

Matt’s mother, Sister Maggie, played a pivotal role in Season 3 of Daredevil, and her return in Born Again seems almost certain. Her relationship with Matt adds emotional depth, grounding his vigilante life in familial struggles. Religion and deep philosophical and moral discussions with Father Lantom were very crucial to all seasons of Daredevil and added a profound layer of complexity and morality. Fans always enjoyed these moments as they provided thought-provoking insights into Matt’s struggles. Now that Lantom is dead, Maggie can take on that role and enrich the narrative with more religious and moral debates with Matt. The church has been the heart of this series, hosting many major sequences, and Maggie’s presence could keep that tradition alive.
1. Jessica Jones (Probability – 100%)
Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones is practically a lock for Daredevil: Born Again. Ritter has been spotted on set, wearing a t-shirt reminiscent of her character’s Netflix wardrobe, and her social media teases have fueled speculation. Her return not only strengthens the connection to the Netflix era but also brings back one of the most beloved characters from that universe. Fans are eagerly awaiting her chemistry with Matt Murdock to reignite.
