Obi-Wan Kenobi: Grogu, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Emperor, All Characters Who Might Appear

The new era of Star Wars in shaping up to be pretty good owing to The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. While these two shows were based in the post original trilogy timeline, Obi-Wan Kenobi will be set in a different era. As you might be aware, it will be set between the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy and will follow the story of Obi-Wan Kenobi.  The original Disney Plus Star Wars series is all set to debut on 27th May, 2022 which is just a week away now, so the hype is rising. Here’s a list of all characters who might cameo in the upcoming series.

First of all, Princess Leia is all but confirmed to appear. The plot of the episode where she appears was leaked a few months. You can read all about her role here. Now let’s get down to our list!

Boba Fett in Obi-Wan Kenobi (High)

Boba Fett started out as being a minor character but quickly turned to one of the most iconic characters in Star Wars universe. He has appeared in the original trilogy, prequel trilogy, The Mandalorian, and obviously in The Book of Boba Fett. So, its very much possible for him to make an appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi but probably as a young man.

R2D2 in Obi-Wan Kenobi (Very High)

A character who has appeared in all live action Star Wars sagas including the latest trilogy is the droid R2D2. At the end of Revenge of the Sith, both R2 and C-3PO were put into the service of Bail Organa to work for the Royal House of Alderaan. And now it has been confirmed that the Organa family will play a big part in Obi-Wan Kenobi. So, appearance of R2D2 is almost a guarantee!

C3PO in Obi-Wan Kenobi (Very High)

C3PO is another character who has appeared in all three trilogies of Star Wars and for the same reasons as R2D2, he is sure to appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Chewbacca in Obi-Wan Kenobi (Medium)

After the fall of the Republic, Chewie ended up being captured by the Empire and finally met Han Solo during the events of Solo: A Star Wars Story. Chewbacca and Obi-Wan meet for the first time aboard the Millenium Falcon in A New Hope. But there is a possibility that they met before which will probably be showcased in Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The Emperor in Obi-Wan Kenobi (Very High)

The Emperor might have a very small cameo, but it is one that would make a lot of sense given how involved Darth Vader is in the show. Since, Vader is involved, there has to be at least one scene where he either reports to the Emperor or is incited by him. So, that makes chances of him appearing very high.

Padme in Obi-Wan Kenobi (Very High)

Once again this cameo would make a lot of sense given how the show is all about Darth Vader and his Inquisitors. Since, her fate has been intertwined with Obi-Wan and Anakin since the beginning, she will surely make an appearance. Although, she died giving birth to Luke and Leia, she is bound to make an appearance in flashback scenes.

Qui-Gon Jinn (Very High)

Obi-Wan Kenobi will surely feature many flashback scenes involving Kenobi’s training and teenage years. Since, Liam Neeson’s Qu-Gon Jinn was his master, he is sure to make multiple appearances in the show. Although, he’s been avoiding and lying about his involvement just like most Marvel stars, he will surely be in the show.

Grogu/Baby Yoda (Medium)

Star Wars’ new cash doll, Baby Yoda aka Grogu might also make a cameo. Although, we’ve seen some subtle hints at Grogu’s origin, we still don’t know who initially trained him and who saved him from the events of Order 66. So, its possible that during certain flashbacks, we get a brief appearance by Grogu.
