It is a really good time to be a Star Wars fan these days with bucket load of new content popping up every other month. Now along with The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and Tales of Jedi, the critically acclaimed spin-off of Clone Wars is up for a season 2 release this year. The Bad Batch had its Season 1 premiere last year on the streaming service Disney+ and is all set to return this fall. This Fall also has another Star Wars animated anthology shorts scheduled for release called Tales of the Jedi, which you can learn about from one of previous articles here. The trailer for The Bad Batch Season 2 was released last month at Star Wars Celebration. But that wasn’t the only thing about it that was shown there.

At the Star Wars celebration, a new footage for The Bad Batch season 2 was also showcased which has now been leaked. The nearly 1.5 minutes footage showcases your favorite characters in action. Watch for yourself below!

The footage showcases Tech interact with omega and the other 3 be off doing something else. Tech and Echo are long overdue some much needed development and this season might do some justice to these characters. That aside, we can see Omega who is a bit older, Commander Cody, and lots of action.
Fans are speculating that this leaked clip might actually be the opening of the season and are really hyped for this season. The first season of Bad Batch is set after the prequels, briefly after the events of Clone Wars concluded. The first season also saw the return of fan favorite and long-lost clone called Captain Rex along with the presumed dead bounty hunter Cad Bane. The story follows Clone Force 99, consisting of 5 elite and experimental clones with enhanced abilities, taking up exceptionally risky mercenary missions, while they struggle to hold together as a team and find a new purpose.
