Jon Snow Emilia Clarke Confirms Kit Harington’s New GOT Sequel!

It looks like winter is again coming to HBO. The speculated “Game of Thrones” sequel series has just been confirmed by actor Emilia Clarke. As previously reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Kit Harington will reprise his role as Jon Snow in a spin-off focused around the famous fantasy hero, the former Mother of Dragons told BBC in an interview. The working title of the project was revealed to be “Snow” by George RR Martin a few hours ago, which you can read about here.

Clarke Confirms Kit Harington Will Be Reprising His Jon Snow Role

Harington played Jon Snow, the Stark bastard child, in the original series from 2011 through 2019. Co-star Emilia Clarke hinted at the “GoT” sequel series that is set to pick up immediately following the “GoT” finale, revealing that Harington built it “from the ground up.” Whether Clarke will be cast has not yet been announced.

“He has told me about it. And I know it exists,” Clarke disclosed to the BBC. “It’s happening.” She continued, “It’s been created by Kit as far as I can understand, so, what you will be watching, hopefully, if it happens, is certified by Kit Harington.”

“Game of Thrones” creator George R. R. Martin did, however, also affirm that the show is in the planning stage. On Thursday, in a blog post titled “SNOW…and Other Stuff,” author Martin clarified there are “four live-action successor shows in development at HBO,” one of which is the Harington-led spin-off.

He wrote, “Yes, there is a Jon Snow show in development,” revealing that it was Harington who proposed the concept to Martin and the team. The working title for the project is simply “SNOW.” However, HBO hasn’t yet put out a statement on whether the venture has been approved.
