I’m not someone who likes watching Romance, its just not my genre however, Heartstopper is different. More than a romance it is a coming of age story and not a generic one at that. You know last year has surprising been about small films and TV shows. I mean Cha Cha Real Smooth was my favorite film of 2022. This is a wonderful show that everyone should watch. Netflix sometimes really gets it right. If you haven’t checked it out yet then definitely do that. I mean if you’re into romance, then it might be the best for you. Given massive success of the show, Netflix renewed it on 20th May 2022. Ever since then, the show has been in production for its second season but when will it come out? Many fans are turning impatient as we have gotten no updates from Netflix. So, here is everything that we know of Heartstopper season 2.
When Will Heartstopper Season 2 Release?
Heartstopper still doesn’t have a release date. Its been seven months since the second season of the show went into production and we know that the filming has been wrapped but as far as a release date is concerned Netflix has nothing to say on the matter for now. The cast for season 2 is more or less the same. We have returning actors like Kit Connor, Joe Locke and Yasmin Finney. The rest of the cast consists of Will Gao, Sebastian Croft, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Corinna Brown, Bel Priestly, Ash Self and Thibault De Montalembert.
On the show’s one year anniversary, Netflix released a new video where they teased the fans by saying that this week they’re going to gift the fans something special. What would it be? No one knows. Well, my guess is the gift is actually a teaser trailer for the second season of the show will drop this week. If a trailer is released then we will get a release date very soon as well. All eight episodes of Heartstopper season one are currently streaming on Netflix. Season two is likely to start streaming sometime in 2023.
