Rowan Atkinson’s new comedy franchise following Mr. Bean and Johnny English, Man vs Bee had its first trailer released few hours ago. The trailer looks hilarious with a battle between Rowan Atkinson and a Bee that terrorizes him at his new job, finally leading him to face legal troubles for his actions, which cause destruction of property and public menace while trying to kill the Bee.

Man vs Bee Release Date, Cast & Plot
The series is created by Rowan Atkinson and Will Davies, with David Kerr serving as the director for all 9 episodes. The show is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on June 24, 2022. The show stars Rowan Atkinson as Trevor and Jing Lusi as Nina, owner of a luxurious mansion for which Trevor is hired to house-sit. The series also includes Claudie Blakley, Tom Basden, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Greg McHugh and India Fowler as part of the main cast.
The official plot premise of Man vs Bee is as follows:
“A man who finds himself entrenched in an ongoing battle with a bee while in the midst of housesitting at an elegant mansion. As the official synopsis asks us, “Who will win, and what irreparable damage will be done in the process?”
As seen from both the trailer and the official premise, Man vs Bee seems to be a very promising comedy entertainer from Netflix’s staple, which had its fair share of emotional dramas in recent times. Surely, Atkinson’s new show can quench the thirst of Mr.Bean fans and lovers of comedy.
