Zack Snyder genuinely loves creating a grand saga of epic sci-fi storytelling. Whatever little we know about Rebel Moon, I have to say it looks truly glorious. This might be the grandest Zack Snyder film ever. It is a shame that we won’t be able to see the spectacle on the big screen as Snyder is making in collaboration with Netflix. The US and some other places might get a limited release in select theatres but if you live in India like me, then forget about seeing it. Snyder is not only directing the film but has also taken some writing responsibility as he is co-writing the screenplay of Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. The film is also based on Kurt’s original story. The film’s cast includes Djimon Hounsou, Sofia Boutella, Ray Fisher and Ed Skrein.
Rebel Moon has a more extended cast which we don’t have clear updates on. The film has been in the works for a very long time and it just tells you how much effort is being put into it. But we don’t have to wait much longer to get the first trailer of Rebel Moon. Snyder just teased us with an image.
Rebel Moon Trailer Will Arrive Soon!
Yesterday, Zack Snyder set the internet on fire by sharing a behind the scenes image on X (formerly known as Twitter). The image revealed him working on the teaser of Rebel Moon. The caption of the post read, “adding the final touches.” He also plugged in the trailer’s debut, which will come during Gamescom 2023 in Cologne, Germany. Gamescom, an annual trade fair for video games, will be happening from August 23rd to the 27th. Rebel Moon trailer will drop on August 22nd.

Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon will debut on Netflix on 22nd December 2023.
