Netflix’s Virgin River Season 5 Part 2 will drop in the streaming service on November 30, 2023. Fans are already looking forward to the release of Virgin River Season 6. It is based on Robyn Carr’s novel of the same name. The show primarily explores the love story of Melinda Monroe and Jack Sheridan, along with other stories of different citizens of the titular town.
Possible Plot of Virgin River Season 6
It is likely that some bits of Virgin River Season 5 Part 1’s ending will move forward to Season 6. Part 1 ended with major revelations such as the identity of Mel’s real father, new relationships, Lizzie’s pregnancy, and that Calvin is the father of Charmaine’s baby. One significant storyline that could occur in Virgin River Season 6 revolves around Vernon “Doc” Mullins. At the end of Part 1, Doc volunteered for a clinical trial for his macular degeneration. The success and ramifications of the treatment on his health could be a key focus in Season 6. Mel and Jack’s wedding could be season six’s primary plotline.
In August 2022, Netflix’s Drama Head Jenny Howe told Deadline – “I think it’s fair to say that that is going to continue to be a focus and something the audience will get to experience more in Season 5 [and beyond]. It’s definitely a priority, and I think you will see, as we expand the ‘Virgin River’ community, that there will be more diversity and inclusion.”
