The anticipation for The Family Business Season 5 just got more exciting after a new update from the show’s creator. Based on Carl Weber’s crime drama book series of the same name the show features a stellar cast led by Ernie Hudson and Armand Assante. The Family Business Season 5 will pick up from the end of the fourth season. The Duncan family is in disarray after the demise of LC Duncan. His son Orlando has taken over the business and working hard to maintain its name. This season will show how this family fights for power while they try to conceal their illegal doings. According to the show’s creator, this season will be the most intense one yet.

When Will it Come Out?
In a recent post on Facebook, Weber posted a new update. “I’ve been hibernating and working overseas while the writers were on strike. Now I’m just waiting and hoping the Actors settle so I can get back to work on ‘[The] Family Business’ TV show: we were about 40% finished with the new season when things went to hell!!!! Speaking of ‘The Family Business,’ the first 4 seasons [of the show] will now be airing on Netflix, Kudos to BET for making that happen.”
If we include a few more months for filming and some more time for post-production, The Family Business Season 5 could premiere around Spring 2024. You can watch Seasons 1-4 exclusively on BET+. When the Season 5 is released, you will also be able to watch it on BET+.
