Young Sheldon Season 7 receives update amid the show’s delay due to the ongoing Hollywood’s strikes. In March 2021, CBS gave Young Sheldon a three-season renewal, with Season 7 serving as the last of that three-year order. According to Deadline, Young Sheldon Season 7’s writer’s room is set to open again following the end of Hollywood writers’ strike by the Writers Guild of America. Aside from The Big Bang Theory spin-off, other shows that are set to open are ABC’s Abbott Elementary, The Cleaning Lady, Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, Fox’s Rescue: Hi-Surf, Fox Entertainment’s Animal Control and Sony TV and Fox Entertainment’s Alert.

There are conjectures regarding this being the final season of Young Sheldon. Because the upcoming Season 7 events are set to line up with The Big Bang Theory lore. If you are unaware, in this season Sheldon will turn 14. Big Bang fans may recall that this was Sheldon’s age when George cheats on Mary, George dies, and Sheldon moves to Pasadena for his graduation studies at CalTech University. Even though there is a possibility that the creators may manage to extend another season, however, major events will take place in Season 7.
Though Season 7 has no official release date yet, according to Deadline, it is part of CBS’ fall 2023 but has now been indefinitely delayed due to the strikes. We’re now expecting season 7 to release in late 2024 instead, so it is a long wait ahead people. Previous seasons of Young Sheldon are available to stream on Max.

Everyone loves this show ! Why not continue like normal life ? Yes, we all get older and are not little children anymore. Things get rough sometimes but there are scripts to be written and viewers that want to watch. What more do you want ? ? ?
Y can’t they write up till he meets Leonard. I mean they did have him go through several roommates up till then. Or have a run off like name it Sheldon. Or a run off of Georgie and his family. How did he become dr tire?
And this writers strike is ridiculous. Without writers there is no story. Give them what they want and get on with it already. I’m SICK of reruns. In my opinion, they don’t make any shows like they did back in the 80s that are worth watching twice now days. The best comedies on TV lately are ghost and Sheldon, the neighborhood. And honestly I watch others but nothing in the past 20 to 30 yrs have made me laugh like friends, Roseanne, family matters, my name is Earl.
