At this point, there is no doubt that MCU is a force to be reckoned with. Not only is it the highest grossing film franchise, but it is also a massive world of its own. The Infinity saga created a massive hype train which was boarded by fans and critics alike, and now all eyes are on its future. The question all of us are asking right now is, can MCU top the Infinity Saga? Well, it seems like it is on the right track considering what awaits us in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Doctor Strange 2 Runtime
The trailers for Doctor Strange have shook the cinematic world and it is shaping up to be the biggest event since Avengers: Endgame. In this article we will let you know the run-time of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as reported by a tracking site. The Brazilian ticketing website Ingresso mentioned 148-minutes as the runtime for Doctor Strange 2 which translates to 2h 28m.
This runtime would make Doctor Strange 2 the second-longest runtime Phase 4 movie along with Spiderman: No Way Home. It would also make it the fourth-longest movie in MCU history after Avengers: Endgame, Eternals, and Avengers: Infinity War. One of the biggest complaints fans had with Doctor Strange (2016) was that “it was too short”. The kind of expansive universe it presented in its short runtime of 115 minutes left fans rooting for more.
Well, it seems like Doctor Strange 2 will not repeat the same mistake and would explore the full potential of the film in almost 2.5 hours. As for the film itself, the consequences for Doctor Strange’s actions in Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home have finally arrived. Its quite evident that multiverse has opened up and everything’s on the lose now, and trapped in between are Strange and Wanda. Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlett Witch is out to help Benedict Cumberbatch’s Strange. Together along with America Chavez, they will try to stop the evil forces appearing from other universes.
