For the past several years, it’s been hard to avoid Cyberpunk 2077. And now, the latest update of the game will radically overhaul it for the better. This game was one of the most anticipated games of all time even before its release because fans were positioning Cyberpunk 2077 as a sort of futuristic vision of Grand Theft Auto.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty – Updates and Release Date
CD Projekt Red made several promises and had high aspirations. However, unfortunately, nothing ever worked out for the game. It was a mess upon its release and was eventually removed from the PlayStation Store for a time. After mass refunds and several updates, the game was in a better state and managed to get appreciated by fans. Some fans still had a sour feeling from the launch.
However, CD Projekt Red has remained committed to its work and is now offering its new expansion, Phantom Liberty. Alongside this project, CD Projekt Red will also release a free update for PC and current-gen players, dubbed Update 2.0. This update will feature huge revamps from combat, police, perks, and more. It will have new gameplay features like vehicle combat. The new update will also include new story missions, side content, clothes, new districts, and vehicles. And, the good news is you don’t need Phantom Liberty to access this either. If you have a PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X|S you are good to go. If not entirely, it looks a lot closer to what fans have expected. CD Projekt Red has outdone itself with Phantom Liberty and certainly, fans are going to enjoy and appreciate it.
