Ahsoka: Will Mandalorian and Baby Yoda Have a Cameo?

Season one premiere of Star Wars: Ahsoka has been released on Disney+ a few hours ago. Ahsoka Tano is one of the most popular characters in the Star Wars world. Co-directed and written by Dave Filoni, the plot follows the backstory that began in the 2008 animated movie The Clone Wars and subsequent television shows. Her reintroduction in the Mandalorian Season 2 made her an important character in the Mando-verse and since Ahsoka is set in the same time-line, question needs to be asked if we’ll see cameos from more Mando-verse characters in Ahsoka.

Ahsoka Plot and Possible Cameo of Mandalorian and Baby Yoda

Filoni said, “She’s a wanderer at this point, and is in a lot of ways wary of any organization as such because of the power that comes with it as a group. She walks a path that died out a long time ago. And there aren’t many like her left, if any. So that’s a lonely thing. What is that life like? If you are a loner, you have a very small circle of friends. What is it like, then, when you try to open back up?”

Ahsoka Tano was an outcast from the Jedi Order after Clone Wars. Her fans admire her character for surviving Order 66, Emperor Palpaine’s major plan to wipe out every Jedi. Tano (Rosario Dawson) used to be Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice. Her growth from Skywalker’s inexpert Padawan to an independent force is commendable. Since then however, Ahsoka has been missing before making her live action debut in The Mandalorian Season 2 portrayed by Rosarie Dawson.

She was revealed to have an extraordinary way of communicating with Baby Yoda aka Grogu. Ahsoka and Grogu shared a profound connection during their short time together. After Ahsoka introduced herself to Mandalorian Din, she sat with Grogu and communicated through the Force. This is when Tano learns about Grogu’s past. Ahsoka Tano later reprised her role in The Book of Boba Feet. There are many questions left unanswered and several corners are still unexplored regarding Mandalorian and Grogu. So if the characters appear as a cameo in season one of Star Wars: Ahsoka, it won’t be surprising.

Considering how interconnected Mando-verse is it is almost a guarantee that we’ll see cameos from certain Mando-verse characters. If not Din or Grogu, we might see Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, The Marshal, or Bo-Katan. In fact, Bo-Katan and Ahsoka’s relationship dates back to the Clone Wars era, so Bo-Katan cameo is a must have for this show. Another thing which makes us sure about these cameos is how Mandalorian Season 3 directly name dropped Grand Admiral Thrawn and revealed his plans. As you may know, Thrawn is going to be the main antagonist of Ahsoka and who knows, maybe every character from the Mando-verse shows up in Ahsoka’s battle against the Empire.
