Frozen Universe has announced a new podcast series with a tale that picks up after the events of the recent sequel. After the triumph of the first film in 2013, the story of Anna and Elsa continued in Frozen 2. The follow-up became the highest-grossing animated film of all time. And now, the Disney franchise is set to expand more.
Frozen Sequel Series Podcast
As we wait for Frozen 3, Collider reveals that a new podcast series is being made that will continue the story. The new 12-episode series is called Frozen: Forces of Nature. This series will feature a standalone tale and new characters along with some recognizable voices. Even though there is no official release date, an official logline is out:
“Queen Anna has a lot on her plate – there are visitors in her Kingdom, a friend in need, and even the Duke of Weselton’s nephew skulking around – so when the Spirits of Nature start acting up, she knows she has to solve the problem – and fast – before things get more out of control. But when Anna and Elsa travel to the Enchanted Forest, they find mysterious copper machines that are disrupting the natural order of things. Who made these machines and what are they doing in the forest? And more importantly, how do Anna and Elsa stop them? Disney Frozen Podcast: Forces of Nature is a 12-episode audio-first story for kids.”
It’s been four years since the release of the sequel, and it’s unclear when Frozen 3 will release. A podcast is a cost-effective way of further exploring the ending of Frozen 2. It will also remind audiences of what they love about Anna, Elsa, and the kingdom of Arendelle. Now we wait and see how the listeners will receive the podcast.
