He runs a shopping mall but faces a new truth after his uncle’s sudden death. The South Korean action series, adapted from Kang Ji-young’s novel. The series stars Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun, well known actors from the Korea. Since debuting on January 17th, the popularity of the show is only increasing. Avid viewers were curious about a revival. However, no update was provided by the creators of the show or the streaming platform. Well, that changes today. We finally have an update on A Shop for Killers season 2 but it isn’t going to make you happy.
A Shop for Killers Won’t Return!
South Korean actress Kim Hye-jun recently appeared in an interview with TV Report where made some comments that casted a doubt on her character’s return in season 2 or the show’s revival altogether. The actress said, “As a viewer, I am sad that the show is ending…More than anything, I spent a year with ‘Ji-an,’ and I am sad that it is time to let it go, and I think I will miss it.”
In a separate conversation with Donga.com, Hye-jun also assured viewers that there will be a satisfying ending. She said, “I think it will be an ending that will satisfy everyone…No matter what ending Ji-an has reached, I think it will show the final process of growth.” She shared a similar sentiment with Star News Korea, but remarked that she thinks “it will show how Ji-an can grow no matter what ending she faces.”
