Last year, when Fortnite launched some playable Naruto characters and cosmetics, including the titular hero and other Team 7 members, it became one of the most popular collaborations in the game’s history. It’s no surprise that the manga franchise has returned to Fortnite. Photos and ads for a second Fortnite X Naruto run have begun to surface online, and as a result, we already have a good idea of the upcoming four skins and who they’ll be.
New Naruto Skins Coming to Fortnite
Leaked details tell us that, this time around, we have Hinata, Gaara, Itachi, and Orochimaru, in addition to the original Naruto skins of Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Kakashi Hatake, who will probably all make another appearance during this second event.
Now, advertisements for the second collab have started showing up in Japan:

We can expect the second Naruto collaboration on Friday, June 24, just a few days from now. As a result, fans can look forward to seeing more official, non-leaked teases throughout the week, but be prepared to break out your cash, as the skins are priced at roughly $15 each, outside of bundles.
Taking into account the leaker’s accuracy, it’s worth mentioning that they’ve teased another upcoming content drop: More Star Wars skins, including Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo, are in the works for Fortnite, with a release date set for later this year or in 2023. If Han Solo does appear, it will be the second Harrison Ford character to show up in the game in a year, following Indiana Jones, who is included in this season’s Battle Pass.
Given the success of the Fortnite x Naruto collab, we do not doubt that Fortnite will begin exploring more anime crossovers with greater zeal. The game is running out of prominent Marvel and DC superheroes to add, but there is a vast world of anime to explore, and Fortnite has found out how to use that animation style to blend in with their own rather well, as demonstrated by these Naruto skins.
