Black Clover has finally returned as promised after a few months. After pausing the serialization earlier this year, Yuki Tabata resumed it this week. All eyes are now focused on the horizon as Black Clover enters its climactic act, and its big comeback indicates that our protagonists have already been through a time skip.
Black Clover: The Manga’s Return Has Got Fans Hooked
In case you missed it, the fact was confirmed in the first few pages of Black Clover chapter 332. It turns out that 15 months have passed since the disastrous Spade Kingdom event. For the time being, The Clover and Heart Kingdoms are being rebuilt thanks to the efforts and resources of the magic knights. They continue to patrol as usual, of course.
Even though we weren’t sure how much time would have elapsed, this time jump was eagerly awaited before Black Clover made its comeback. Fifteen months is a reasonable amount of time to recover from the Spade Kingdom debacle. Additionally, it has allowed our heroes to age even more. For instance, Asta, who battled Lucifero when he was only 17 years old, is now 18. His design, too, has aged as a result of this last act.
Black Clover still has a lot to unpack before it concludes, but this comeback chapter has planted the seeds for what’s to come. Given his true identity, Julius’s disappearance and return should keep fans on edge, not to mention Yuno’s absence for a mission. Before the show’s grand finale, all of the pieces are falling into place, and it’s not long before everything crumbles.
