Black Clover Manga Chapter 348 Delayed, Leaks, Spoilers, Release Date and Time

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata, and its story follows Asta, a young boy born without any magic power. This is unknown to the world he lives in because seemingly everyone has some sort of magic power and with the help of his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2015, with its chapters collected in 32 tankōbon volumes as of April 2022. A Black Clover anime television series adaptation produced by Pierrot aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from October 2017 to March 2021. That aside, a Black Clover anime film is set to premiere in 2023. But today we are going to talk about the upcoming Chapter 348 of the Manga, so beware as major spoilers for the same follow below.

Black Clover Chapter 348 Delayed Again, No Spoilers This Week

Unfortunately, this week there will be no chapter because Black Clover is on a break again after releasing an interesting chapter last week. The reason for this break is that WSJ magazine itself is on a break this week after a break at the beginning of the year. Since past few chapters, there have been continuous breaks and the most probable reason for this inconsistency is the personal issues of the manga writer.  So in a sense this magazine break will do good for the writer. Spoilers for chapter 348 are expected to be released between Tuesday, January 17 (at the earliest) and Thursday, January 19 (at the latest). But that doesn’t mean we have nothing for you, as you can check out the recap for Chapter 347 below.

At the beginning of Chapter 347, Ichika notes that they don’t even need Asta’s power, but then Lily comes in and arrogantly says “You can’t even doge this one?” and then the Paladins unleash a big attack (combined Ice x Spatial magic). Ichika says the Paladins have extraordinary amounts of yoryoku. The Paladin with Beast magic unleashes an illusion spell that shows the enemy their own fear based on their memories. Kezokaku sees a giant frog & Ichika sees her father.

Ichika says it’s true she used to fear him when she was a child [i.e. the spell works from memories] but this deception won’t work. – Ichika is in shock from her own memories. She sees her father being angry because there’s no war. She sees him talking to Yami about “rebuilding the Yami clan” and offering a “secret medicine passed down the generations” that would draw his demonic potential out. The next memory we see is Ichika’s father saying “you can drink it too” (after Yami turned it down) [i.e. the thing that makes Yami clan members go berserk], presumably force feeding it to Ichika.

Black Clover 347 continues as the next memory is people running away during the massacre. Ichika is in shock and is questioning herself if it really was her who killed their clan. We see one last memory of her father saying “as expected of my child, Ichika”. Daizaemon says they can’t yet lose but he’s barely standing. Lily says it’s all fine because Lucius has a place for them too in his new world peace & about to unleash another attack. Ichika thinks she’s “become strong… should’ve become strong…” but was she “this week in reality”? As she’s about to be slashed by the enemy, Asta appears before her, reminding her of Yami protecting her from their father’s abuse. This is where the chapter ends.
