Dragon Ball Super Manga’s latest Super Hero arc officially began with Chapter 88 back in December 2022 and it bow about to end. Granolah Arc, which began back with Chapter 67 has effectively ended with Chapter 87 in August which also brought an end to the battle between the Saiyans and Gas as a part of the Granolah Arc. The Super Hero Arc itself has been divided into two arcs Super Hero prequel arc and the Call Max Arc. The prequel arc concluded with Chapter 90 and chapter 91 – 98 basically covered the first 90 minutes of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. This month we’ll be getting Chapter 99 and that is exactly what this article is about as the first drafts of the chapter have been revealed!
Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 99 Drafts and Summary Leaked
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 99 draft pages are now out as provided by @DBSHype. The leaks and spoilers for full chapter will be added in a whole new article on 16th-18th November. So stay tuned with us for this weekend to not miss any update on DBS Chapter 99!
As you can see, the drafts of the chapter are almost a carbon copy of what we saw in the film. The last chapter ended with Orange Piccolo getting big and asking Gohan to muster as much strength as he can while he distracts Cell Max. In these opening drafts we see Piccolo take Cell Max head on while Gohan powers up. Piccolo takes quite a few punches, and kicks from Cell Max as the others look worried. Then Cell Max smashes Piccolo with his tail and we see Piccolo going down.
But as usual, he gets back up and delivers Cell Max a solid punch only to receive more beating. And the drafts cut abruptly as Piccolo takes another blow from his tail. Hopefully we will see Gohan Beast arrive at the end of this chapter which means this will possibly not be the final chapter in this arc. It feels like we’ll be getting at least one more as it would mark 1 year of the Super Hero Arc and also be the 100th chapter in the Super Manga. As per info provided by VIZ, Dragon Ball Super chapter 99 is expected to be released on Tuesday, November 21 in the monthly V-Jump issue. As you may know DBS is serialized in Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine which is released on the 21st of every month, barring a Sunday or holiday. When DBS chapter 99 comes out, fans will be able to read it on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app and Viz Media’s Manga Plus site. The international release time for the manga series’ upcoming chapter is expected to be the following:
- Pacific Time – 8 AM
- Eastern Time – 11 AM
- British Time – 4 PM
- European Time – 5 PM
- India Time – 8:30 PM
- Philippine Time – 11 PM
- Australia Central Time – 12:30 AM
