What If..? was the first Marvel Studios animated project as a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was expected to do really well, and for the most part it turned out to be good with a few flaws here and there. Anyways, most viewers enjoyed it and as a result Marvel Studios have warranted a What If Season 2, the first trailer for which was shown at SDCC 2022. Unfortunately, there still hasn’t been an official trailer for the season but today we have some amazing updates for you. As is happens, the release date, episode titles and more for What If Season 2 have been leaked online and for the most part, they seem to be true! So without further ado, lets begin.
What If Season 2 Release Date and Trailer
What If Season 2 still hasn’t received an official release date however, as per What’s On Disney Plus, Marvel Studios has confirmed a holiday season release date for the season. Now as per latest leaks, the release date for What If Season 2 is set for December 22, 2023. The leaks comes from many reliable sources including CanWeGetThatToast. As for the trailer, the first official trailer is all set to release this week, again according to leaks and rumors. However, as you may remember, a trailer for the season debuted back at SDCC 2022. Well, we have some details about the trailer for you.
‘WHAT IF…?’ Season 2 trailer has some incredible moments including a cool Hela visual as well as more of Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) who will be voiced by Elizabeth Olsen. That aside, the trailer showcases Captain Carter meeting the Winter Soldier and Black Widow among some other characters. We also see some kickass Odin vs The Mandarin action scenes which I do not understand. No matter how strong Wenwu + Dweller in Darkness are, they are no match for the Allfather.
Anyways, another interesting thing we see here is Tony Stark on Sakaar with Valkyrie and Hulk. They are apparently racing in some futuristic pods in the Grandmaster’s arena and that sure looks like a lot of fun. We also saw a moment showcasing Star Lord if Yondu delivered him to Ego as promised. That aside, a scene where Captain America goes up against Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet also is quite hype-worthy.
What If Season 2 Episode Titles Leaked!
Just like season 1, this season will also feature 9 episodes and all of them will feature different alternate scenarios and realities. As the concept of Multiverse grows ever stronger in the MCU, this show brings forward some fun and some horrifying alternate realities. Following are the titles for the Season 2 episodes as revealed by the leakers.

- What If… Peter Quill Attacked Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?
- What If… Kahhori Reshaped the World?
- What If… Hela found the Ten Rings?
- What If… lron Man Crashed into the Grandmaster?
- What If… Happy Hogan Saved Christmas?
- If… Captain Carter Fought the Hydra Stomper?
- If… The Avengers Assembled in 1602?
- If… Strange Supreme Intervened?
