Assassin’s Creed Origins, as you may know, is a 2017 action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It’s the tenth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series preceded by 2015’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and followed by 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The game is often considered one of the best games in the franchise as well as one of the best action RPGs. Assassin’s Creed Origins Next Gen Update Is Here!
Assassin’s Creed Origins is about to receive a big next-gen update this week and Ubisoft surprised the fans with this reveal. While the devs of The Witcher 3 are still struggling to come out with the 2015 game’s next gen update, Ubisoft has succeeded in timely releasing it for Origins. Ubisoft took to Twitter to announce the arrival of the update and wrote, “You’ve been waiting, and now the winds of Egypt are calling…. Experience Assassin’s Creed Origins in 60FPS – available for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles on June 2.”

The Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Next Gen update is all set to arrive on 2nd June 2022, that is tomorrow! It has been confirmed by Ubisoft that it will be featuring a 60 FPS boost on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The game will also debut on Xbox Game Pass on June 7th, so you can test out its new performance without spending any extra money and only then make the purchase.
At the moment it is unknown that what all other features it would consist of, as this news came out of nowhere. Fans stated in the comments that even though they wanted it, they weren’t quite ready for it so soon and so unexpectedly. The most recent game in the series in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and a new game is being speculated to debut in 2023.
