Marvel’s Spider-Man video games have been a revelation for the gaming industry. Spider-Man 2 was one of the best games of last year. Despite being such a huge success in the gaming community, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 didn’t win anything at the Game Awards this year. However, that’s the least of Insomniac’s worries. With the hacking attack, many company secrets and future plans have been revealed. Recently, we also got the full trailer of the cancelled Spider-Man: The Great Web game, so clearly the company has to look into its security. However, while they don’t, it is a treat for us as we will continue to get leaks. Just like today, we have a new design leak from Spider-Man 3.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 3: The New Green Goblin Design Looks Sick!
I’d start by saying that I don’t like the design of Ultimate Green Goblin and my biggest fear was that Insomniac will adopt that design only. However, I love this design! I am a huge fan of Silver Age and Bronze Age designs, this looks like a good update of the classic Green Goblin costume. Definite homages with modern sensibilities as well. All the Spider-Man games anyways take inspiration from the ultimate universe, story wise.
However, I’ve noticed that all their villain designs are adapted straight from of universe 616. I don’t think they’ll go for Monster Goblin though. It would be too similar to Venom anyway. I bet that we will see Green Goblin transform into the Ultimate Goblin form though. I’m guessing during the final phase of a boss fight or something similar.
