The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards or better known by its abbreviation – BAFTA is celebrating its glorious 76 years long run. The BAFTAs are just like the Oscars, you can consider them as the highest honor for achievement in cinema in Britain. The awards was first established in 1947, same year India got independence. Ever since then the award ceremony has become one of the most prestigious awards across the world. Even the Royal Family has their presence during the ceremony. This year, BAFTA has returned to once again celebrate and honor achievements by filmmakers in 2022. The awards was amidst controversy as they snubbed the global Indian sensation RRR, which has even gotten an Oscar nod. Regardless, here is the list of all the winners from last night’s ceremony.
