Robert Nesta Marley OM better known as his stage name Bob Marley was a Jamaican singer who is considered to one of the pioneers of the reggae genre. His music often fused components of reggae, ska, and rocksteady. Marley was also renowned for his distinctive vocal and songwriting style. The remarkable figure passed very early at the age of 36, leaving his fans distraught. A new biopic based on Marley’s life is coming out next week. The reviews for the Reinaldo Marcus Green directorial haven’t been positive but considering the fans Marley has all over the world, a biopic based on his life will certainly attract footsteps. Bob Marley: One Love Online Release Date Revealed!
According to a new listing on dvdreleasedates, Bob Marley: One Love will be available for rent or purchase on digital and VOD platforms like Apple iTunes, Vudu and Amazon Prime Video from March 19th, 2024. This gives the biopic an exclusive theatrical run of 25 days. This is a good strategy as whatever audience the film will attract would be in its first two weeks.
The month of March will anyways be about Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two. Any film releasing alongside the sequel will be a foolish decision. The biopic is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and stars Kingsley Ben-Adir in the role of Bob Marley. The other supporting cast includes Lashana Lynch, Michael Gandolfini, James Norton, Anthony Welsh and Tosin Cole.
Bob Marley: One Love will release in theatres near you on February 23rd, 2024.
