Potterverse is back again with Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore. The film, which is the third installment in the series and 11th in the Potterverse, will showcase Jude Law’s Dumbledore and his army go against Mads Mikkelsen’s Grindelwald in an exciting new adventure. After going through a really bad time because of the failure of the second film, and the Johnny Depp as well as J.K. Rowling controversies, this film is the franchise’s attempt to bounce back up. As you maybe aware, its red carpet screening took place yesterday, which means the early reviews are pouring in now. The good news is that they are widely positive and nearly all of them call it a significant improvement on the previous installments. Check out our review roundup below!
Mads Mikkelsen Shines as Grindlewald
#FantasticBeastsTheSecretsOfDumbledore is an improvement on the sequel, even if it only fleetingly recaptures the magic. Mads Mikkelsen is a huge upgrade, but the MVP is Jessica Williams's Lally. It's just overstuffed and unsure if it's a Beasts film or a Harry Potter film. pic.twitter.com/65HeyIgeXb

The Best Fantastic Beasts Movie Yet
The #SecretsOfDumbledore is an exciting and enjoyable Wizarding World adventure. Thankfully, leagues above the previous, it’s probably the best Fantastic Beasts so far. Great character work, fun adventure, and amazing duels. Fans should really enjoy this one! pic.twitter.com/M56qR8L0KC

Has Its Issues But Fun
Steve Kloves miraculously salvages a sinking ship w/#FantasticBeasts3 but it doesn’t fully fix the larger issues w/the series. Still, by far the best of the 3. The series feels FUN again. The layers of ##Dumbledore are peeled back & explored in interesting ways. Had a good time! pic.twitter.com/ZAvIfNHzEE

Way Better Than Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindlewald
#SecretsOfDumbledore is a big bounce back for the #FantasticBeasts series for me! Back to enjoying the group dynamic & caring about the main mission. A lil thin here & there but a FAR more engaging ride than the last. Dan Fogler continues to be a favorite … and the Niffler. pic.twitter.com/QBkyMOq4UT

Highly Rewatchable
After watching it for the second time tonight, #FantasticBeasts #SecretsOfDumbledore is a very enjoyable film that I am sure I will want to re-watch a few more times. And obsessive Harry Potter fans will find more questions than answers in this movie. pic.twitter.com/pmA6kBh3Mg
