The Witcher Season 3 Henry Cavill Reveals Geralt's New Roach

The world of The Witcher has seen quite a bit of expansion in the recent past. Since 2019, we have seen Netflix executing all their Witcher plans including the main web series, the anime “Nightmare of the Wolf”, and the spinoff “The Witcher: Blood Origin”. Also, just a few days ago, CDPR also announced a new Witcher game with Witcher 3 next gen update also coming up soon. But for now, the main event in the Witcher lore that fans are waiting for, is the Witcher Season 3. And we have a fun new update for you.

Geralt’s New Roach

Fans of the Witcher books and games must be aware that Geralt always calls his horse Roach. So, basically every new horse he acquires, its called Roach. In season 2, we saw the death of the original Roach who has been with Geralt since season 1. Being Witcher enthusiasts, we mourned for him along with Geralt and Ciri but now it’s time to move on.

A few hours ago, Henry Cavill took to Instagram to share the pic of his new steed. He wrote, “Reunited with my equine friend Hector today, and my human friend Laszlo! After a good ride out through the mountains, Hector showed off some of his new rearing skills. He’s showing some promise.”

Hector is the name of the beautiful black steed who will be Geralt’s new Roach in the upcoming season of the Witcher. There is no doubt he’s one good looking horse and fans openly expressed how much they like this new horse in the comments. It seems like Cavill has been training a lot and so has been Hector. Cavill has worked pretty  hard for the Witcher series so far and has fully committed to his role. He is one of the main reasons, why Witcher series is working well and we expect him to carry on the good work. That’s all for today, and for more Witcher coverage, feel free to explore our website.
